Founded in 23rd of April 1996 as a private limited company, Buddha Air is the largest domestic air travel operator of Nepal with more than 700 experienced professionals and possessing three 18 seat Beechcraft-1900 D, three 47 seat ATR-42 and three 72 seat ATR 72-500 flying out to all the trunk routes with a minimum of 1200 m of permanent runway.
Yeti Airlines
Yeti Airlines is a reputed and well established domestic air operator of Nepal registered and established in 1998. After long 15 years of service it now has the largest fleet of 7 British Aero ‘Jet stream 41’, 4 de Havilland Canada DHC-6/300 Twin Otter, 2 Dornier 228 and 2 Pilatus Porter STOL aircrafts flying to remote areas of Nepal.
Tara Air
Tara air is the newest air operator of Nepal which works as the subsidiary of Yeti Airlines. It was founded in October 2009 with a promotional aim of rural development via air transportation. Tara Air comprises a fleet of 6 STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) aircrafts which includes four Twin Otter (DHC 6/300) and two Dornier (DO 228) aircrafts with charter service too. It now also operates its new imported aircraft PC 6.

Established in 2001, Simrik Airlines is the best and safest domestic airlines of Nepal. It is a registered company often called as most prominent rotor wing Airline in Nepal. It has 3 choppers - B3 Ecureuil and 2 Japan Made BK-117 B2 which covers entire geography of this mountainous area to the land of Terai and are often used for rescues and can land in small area.
